On Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 Torfaen will host its first Digital Enterprise Festival. The festival is a celebration of the digital partnerships, technologies and companies emerging within the region.
Cllr Bob Wellington, Leader of Torfaen council, said: “Sustaining a strong client-base can be critical to a business’s success and attending networking events is a time-honoured way of meeting new clients.
“However, networking events can also create opportunities for developing partnerships with businesses in similar sectors.”
Vision of Enterprise – a flagship event for the Digital Enterprise Festival – looks to create the right conditions for this sort of networking to flourish. The event will bring together sole traders and small and medium enterprises working in the digital economy. There will also be representatives from Welsh universities, the Welsh Government and major international IT firms.
Both Logicalis and Spectrum Internet Services – the main presenters at Vision of Enterprise– have benefited from these networking opportunities, having worked with local companies to deliver major IT contracts. Their presentations at Vision of Enterprise will highlight the opportunities for these types of partnership.
The event will be held in the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre with workshops and presentations throughout the afternoon aimed at companies of any size with an interest in digital technologies. You can register your place at the workshops and presentations online by visiting http://digifestvisionofenterprise.torfaen.gov.uk or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
