Less than 12 months after launching in the Netherlands, Horse & Country TV will now be carried by Dutch cable carrier, Ziggo, from the beginning of June.
“Joining the channel line-up at Ziggo represents a major milestone for Horse & Country TV," said H&C TV CEO, Heather Killen. "We’re delighted that the large and passionate audience for equestrian sports and country lifestyle in the Netherlands will now be able to see H&C TV in Ziggo’s TV Extra package.”
Ziggo is the largest pay-TV operator in the Netherlands, serving 3 million homes in total, with more than 2.2 million subscribers using digital television.
In addition to launching in Ziggo’s TV Extra package, H&C TV will also be made available to about 220,000 homes in Rotterdam on UPC from July.
The Ziggo and UPC carriage agreements will bring H&C TV into over 750,000 new cable homes. The channel is also available in about 10.5 million homes in the UK and Ireland on the Sky platform.
