The first round of national Young Enterprise competition took place at Big Pit National Coal Museum, Blaenavon, Torfaen on 9 th April 2014.
Entrepreneurs from Torfaen, Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent competed to take home the top prize of ‘Best Company or Team 2014’ after taking part in a Young Enterprise scheme to set up and run their own businesses for a year with the help of business mentors.

The winners of the coveted 'Best Company Award' and the 'Best Team Award' will go forward into the Welsh National Finals on 17th June where they will compete for the chance to represent Wales at the Young Enterprise National UK Finals in July.
