If your business is looking to recruit a young person aged 16 – 24 to work at least 25 hours per week then Educ8 could support you via the Jobs Growth Wales Programme. Educ8 will not only advertise your vacancy but also pay the young person’s wages for the first 6 months of their employment with you. This equates to around £6,300 on average in savings per individual you recruit on to this programme. The young person will also automatically be enrolled on to the Young Recruits Programme after their first 6 months of working with you which means that you will gain a further wage subsidy for an additional 6 months. The young person will be working towards a fully funded QCF qualification in one of the following occupational routes:
- Health and Social Care
- Business Administration
- Customer Service
Qualification Credit Frameworks (QCFs)
Educ8 currently has significant funding to support young people (aged 16-24 years) to enrol onto a QCF (Apprenticeship) in any of the following routes:
- Health and Social Care - Level 2 - 5
- Childcare - Level 2 - 5
- Business Administration - Level 2 & 3
- Customer Service - Level 2 & 3
Please note: Level 5 QCFs Are Not Age-Restricted! Level 5 qualifications in Childcare and Health and Social Care remain a Welsh Government priority and so there is funding available for individuals OF ALL AGES in these routes.
