A number of Tofaen businesses are shortlisted to win a coveted Welsh Business Award 2015, organised by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, according to the South Wales Argus. The shortlist recognises the achievements of well-established businesses as well as newcomers in the market, across a variety of sectors.
Pontypool based DiamondPak Ltd is nominated for the Commitment to Skills and Development Award, whilst Spear Europe Ltd of Cwmbran who produce labels for the food and drink industry are named as a finalist in the Success through Overseas Trade category. Michael McLeod of UniGreen Scheme who help universities reduce waste and consume resources sustainably, has been shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
In its fourteenth consecutive year, the Welsh Business Awards, sponsored by the University of South Wales, will take place on Thursday 25 February at the National Museum of Wales, and will be hosted by former Blue Peter presenter, TV host Gethin Jones
