Springboard Business Innovation Centre~Wales

Located in the strategic business site in Llantarnam Park, Cwmbran, the Centre was a joint venture between the Authority and Welsh Government with support from European Union Objective one funding.

Springboard is a high quality three storey building of 2,340 sq metres incorporating 35 business units (ranging from 20 sq. metres to 105 sq. metres available on easy-in easy-out terms on a 12 month tenancy agreement), coworking space (in partnership with IndyCube), reception service, management suite, break-out areas and meeting rooms.  The Centre specialises in supporting new start science and technology businesses as well as acting as a base for more established companies looking to relocate or establish a trading presence within South East Wales.

Springboard has secured nearly 100 science and technologies companies during the past 12 years which has led to the development of a digital cluster in and around the area.  Many of the higher profile companies have been acquired by established international world leaders the most recent being the acquisition of Genfour Ltd by Accenture.
