According to eeNews Europe, Thalia Design Automation Ltd. (based at Springboard Business Innovation Centre ~ Wales, Cwmbran, Torfaen), an analog EDA startup founded by Sowmyan Rajagopalan, has opened an engineering centre in Hyderabad, India.
Thalia provides automation tools for RF, analog and mixed-signal technology transfer and circuit optimisation, derivative generation and IP creation.
The Indian office will be staffed initially by five analog design and EDA development engineers. Thalia said it expects to grow this number to 25 within 12 to 18 months. The expansion is being driven by a recent funding round, Thalia said.
