A popular Pontypool pizzeria is hosting a pop-up pizza and prosecco night on Thursday 21 June to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the town.
Family run Porky’s Pizza, which opened in Pontypool town centre in 1987, will take over the indoor market for the event.
Guests will be treated to a glass of prosecco on arrival and a three course meal, including their favourite pizza freshly cooked to order.
Mike Daley owner of Porky’s said: “Last year was our thirtieth birthday and we didn’t do anything special to mark it, so this event will be our slightly belated birthday party.
“We want to say thank you to our loyal customers, some of whom have been visiting us since we opened, and also hope to welcome some new faces.”
Councillor Alan jones, executive member with responsibly for business at Torfaen council, said: “It is fantastic to see an independent, family run business like Porky’s going from strength to strength after 30 years in the town.
“Pizza and prosecco are a winning combination and it is great that the indoor market is again able to host something different for the people of Pontypool.”
The event takes place on Thursday 21 June from 7pm at Pontypool Indoor Market. Tickets are £15 and can be bought directly from Porky’s or from Pontypool Indoor Market, and include a glass of prosecco, food and live entertainment.
Soft drinks will be available to purchase and guests are invited to bring their own alcohol at no extra cost.
