On the 12th April 2018 the regional event of the National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA) will be held at Pontypool’s iconic refurbished Victorian Indoor Market (Jubilee building) between 10am and 3pm. It will be hosted by the Economy, Enterprise and Renewal Team at Torfaen County Borough Council.
This free event is open to organisers of Markets – from Food and Farmers to Craft and Vintage.
The agenda will include a presentation on developments in Pontypool, a tour of the market and an opportunity to find out about this year’s ‘Love Your Local Market Campaign’ which runs from 17-31 May. Policy updates on a wide range of subjects from NABMA and the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) will also be provided. In addition, as NABMA moves towards celebrating its centenary - there will be an interactive workshop for market operators to feed into the strategy and vision for NABMA100.
