Founded five years ago, leading UK kids’ bike specialist Frog Bikes has partnered with USA Cycling, the national governing body for the sport of cycling in the United States and will be their Official Kids' Bike through to 2021.
In just five years specialist children’s bicycle manufacturer, Frog Bikes, has achieved an international presence and supplies its products to more than 500 outlets in the UK plus over 40 countries worldwide and growing.
Frog Bikes established its manufacturing base at Mamhilad Park Estate, Pontypool, Torfaen in August 2016 and has gone from strength to strength and production continues to ramp up. The 120,000 sq ft manufacturing and assembly facility was also winner of the prestigious Insider Magazine Wales Best Factory (<£25m) award in 2017.
Rather than apply conventional thinking to their design of children’s bicycles, Frog Bikes created a lighter bike that makes it easier for children to learn and enjoy riding. The three year partnership will allow the organizations to work in tandem in pursuit of their shared desire of making biking more accessible to young people.
