Successful business networking event takes place in Torfaen

Over 60 business people attended the third event of  2018 of Torfaen’s popular business club. Held at the Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club, Cwmbran on 20th September  the event provided a forum for members and guests  to make new contacts through the club’s  renowned, highly   successful  facilitated networking activity.  Just one of the benefits of being a  member of Torfaen Business  Voice is the opportunity  to present to  all attendees  in the ‘Member Spotlight’ session. This time it was the turn of Jim Keech and Gareth Brenton of the Congress Theatre, Cwmbran.

In addition, guest speaker Anthony McAllister, Business Development Manager  of PDR, International Centre for Design & Research set up by Cardiff Metropolitan University and sponsors of the event, spoke about PDR’s work with  businesses around new knowledge in product design, development and research. A buffet and informal networking rounded off this well attended event.

Ashley Harkus Chair of Torfaen Business Voice and Managing Partner of local law firm Everett, Tomlin, Lloyd & Pratt  said “We welcome  businesses from within Torfaen and surrounding areas as members. Tonight’s event has been well attended and we’ve enjoyed listening to a fantastic speaker. It’s also been a pleasure to welcome  a number of new members.”
