Blaenavon Post Office owners hope award nomination can benefit community

According to Pontypool Free Press, the owners of Blaenavon Post Office, Nick & Wendy Horler,  are overjoyed at being nominated for yet another national award. They are in the ‘Best Village Shop/Post Office’ category of the Countryside alliance Awards. These awards are known as the ‘rural oscars’ and are now in their 14th year. They are the annual celebrations of British food and farming, enterprise and heritage. The Welsh regional champions will be announced at the Senedd in April.
