Torfaen finalists listed in Wales Online Digital Awards 2018

WalesOnline Digital Awards showcase the very best in Wales’ thriving digital sector.

My Development Zone, based in Blaenavon, is a finalist in the category of Best Use of Technology within Education. It has developed an online learning solution (My Development Zone) that has revolutionised professional skills development in the general insurance market.

David James joined Cwmbran-based software firm Hudman in 2015 as an angel investor, before becoming managing director. After securing funding from Finance Wales in 2016 and increasing turnover by 200% per year, he led the sale of the company to the UK’s third-largest software company, Advanced Computer Software. David is a finalist in the Digital Entrepreneur category.
