Torfaen Business Voice, (TBV), a popular and well established business networking club in south east Wales has seen membership recruitment numbers soar to 100 over the past few months and has just launched its first quarter 2021 calendar of online events.
Having speedily adapted to the pandemic by offering regular online ‘virtual’ networking throughout 2020, TBV’s first member networking event of 2021 will take place on Thursday 21st January. This will be followed by monthly events on 25th February and 25th March. These will enable members to continue regular networking, gain new leads, share their experiences, provide support to each other as well as learn from others.
Kate Hancock of Metro Bank Plc said “The TBV online networking events have really enabled me to re-connect with the members that I have not seen for some time. The format is great and allows us to be introduced to everyone and find out a little of their business whilst the chat function has allowed me to arrange meetings on a 1-2-1 basis with those businesses I wish to talk to further. The group is very friendly and open dialog is encouraged which really creates a sense of collaboration and a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to sell.”
New member, Neil Reynolds of Reynolds Financial Ltd said “I joined last year and like anything new you’re never quite sure what to expect. The Torfaen Business Voice meeting however was welcoming and I'm really glad I joined. Plenty of people to network with and bounce ideas off each other.”
Membership of TBV now stands at 100 and comprises existing businesses as well as startups across a wide range of sectors across Torfaen, south east Wales and beyond
Led by a committee of local business leaders, Torfaen Business Voice actively welcomes new members and is continuing its offer of free online membership until the end of April 2021 to businesses and startups.
