Economic Resilience Fund: Update

The Welsh Government is making a further package of business support available through the Economic Resilience Fund (ERF).

The ERF will provide support in the form of grants for businesses, social enterprises and charities and associated supply chain businesses that continue to experience a material negative impact as a direct result of ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. The grants will help meet operating costs (excluding staff wages) for the period 1st of May 2021 to 30th of June 2021 for businesses directly impacted by the restrictions in place from the beginning of the period.  The Fund is administered in two parts;

CLOSING DATE NOW EXTENDED TO 12pm WEDNESDAY 16th JUNE 2021

Read today's Welsh Government announcement about further financial support available for businesses that have capacity for events of more than 30 people indoors or in contained spaces and to businesses that are still closed because of ongoing restrictions

  • Support for businesses with a turnover of less than £85,000 is being administered by Local Authorities. The grant is now open to applications from Torfaen businesses and will close at 5pm on 30th June 2021.
